Celebrate Father’s Day in Downtown St. Louis

Show Dad how much you care with a day celebrating him and his family. Looking for a destination? Celebrate Father’s Day at one of these Downtown spots.

Hit the Lanes

There’s nothing like a little friendly competition to bring the family together. Visit Flamingo Bowl on Washington Avenue for an afternoon of bowling and snacks. (Children are allowed at the establishment before 9 p.m. when accompanied by an adult.) Fingers crossed Dad gets a strike!

Cheers to Dad

Sundays mean free tours at the Schlafly Tap Room. These small-group tours fill up on a first-come basis, so even if the family can’t partake in some behind-the-scenes beer action the bar and restaurant are great places to celebrate. Elevate the traditional beer snacks with Schlafly’s House-Made Pork Rinds, Poutine, or Bag of Pretzels with white cheddar sauce.

Picnic in the Park

Enjoy lunch in Dad’s favorite Downtown park. Whether he loves looking up at the Arch from the newly renovated Gateway Arch National Park, watching his kiddos play in the Kiener Plaza splash pad or enjoying the artwork at Citygarden. The park can be the perfect lunch destination thanks to Cielo’s made-to-order picnic baskets. Order your picnic basket at least one day in advance and pick up a selection of local artisan cheese, salads, fresh bread, sandwiches and more.

Celebrates with the Cards

Take Dad out to a Cardinals game! Celebrate Father’s Day at Busch Stadium, where the Cardinals will take on the Chicago Cubs on June 17. For an additional $40 per person, add tickets to the Official Pre-Game Party of the St. Louis Cardinals at Cardinals Nation in Ballpark Village. This pre-game party comes with a full buffet and bar starting 2.5 hours before the game begins.
